Harford Special Spaces 2025 ends with a new graveyard map and a feast!

On Saturday 25th October Harford Special Spaces 2025 celebrated the completion of the newly digitalised graveyard map with a torchlight walk through the graveyard, a presentation of the new map by Nicholas Courtman, some photos of what members of the community have been thankful for this year and a delicious bring and share supper.

As usual, Harford Church had been beautifully decorated for the festival:

The new map is on display on noticeboards on the North wall of the church. The plan for HSS 2026 is to continue collecting details from monuments in the church and to start mapping the North graveyard. This is a huge project and will take till 2027 to complete. Ultimately the plan is to produce a booklet of all the Harford graves to be kept at the back of church.

Harford Special Spaces 2026 will start again after Easter, although the fourth Saturday parish breakfasts will run before that – keep an eye on the St Petroc’s Facebook page for details.
